How to create a Virtual PC

1. Start Virtual PC

2. Click new..

3. click next twice

4. type a name for your vm (ex. Windows 98 )

5. select the os you will install

6. to change the amount of RAM your vm will use, click adjusting the ram

7. click a new virtual hd

8. click finish

Enabling Networking
NOTE: only do this if the internet doesn’t work on your virtual machines

1. start your vm

2. click edit, settings

3. click network adapters

4. select shared networking (nat)

Enable Networking on Windows 95

NOTE: you still need to do the networking step above if your computer needs it

1. start Windows 95

2. right click on network neighborhood and click properties

3. click add

4. select microsoft

5. select TCP/IP and click OK

6.click OK

7. restart your VM
